RULES AND REGULATIONS

TRAFFIC AND PARKING:
- The speed limit on the roads shall not exceed 15 MPH.
- Parking of automobiles on the sides of the roads, in the rights of way and the beachway is prohibited.
- All posted signs must be obeyed.
- Pedestrians walking in the roads are given right of way.
- The Association's sticker should be posted prominently on your car.
6.A. Unregistered Motor Vehicles, including Mini Bikes, are prohibited on Cove Roads.
BATHING BEACH:
- Dressing and undressing on the beach is prohibited.
- Glass or other dangerous materials should not be taken on the beach.
- Food or drinks should not be sold or eaten on the beach, except by permission of the Association, but may be consumed on the
cement portion of the right of way.
- Dogs are not allowed on the beach at any time.
- The safety and comfort of the bathers chould be respected at all times.
- No pyrotechnics of any kind shall be used on the beach.
SANITATION AND REFUSE:
- Garbage and rubbish must be kept in proper containers and placed conveniently for the collector.
BOATS:
- No boats or jet skis shall be operated within the bathing area to ensure the safety and convenience of the
children and swimmers. (The customary bathing area is the waterline on the beach, to mid-line of the sandbar, to the diving board,
to pier, to cliff rocks.)
- Outside the bathing area, in the waters of the Cove, all boats and jet skis must be operated with due caution and consideration for other boats and possible
swimmers, in accordance with Coast Guard and the State of Connecticut Boating Commission Regulations.
- Boats or jet skis may only be launched from the left side of the sandbar before 9:00 a.m. and after 6:00 p.m.
The back beach (Daniel Ave.) should otherwise be used for launching.
NUISANCES:
- The creation of any sort of nuisance is prohibited.
- Dogs must be kept on leash or under the control of the owner at all times everywhere in the Cove, except at the bathing beach,
where they are prohibited.
PROPERTY OWNERS, TENANTS, AND GUESTS ARE REQUESTED TO POST AND OBSERVE THE FORGOING RULES AND REGULATIONS, THEREBY ASSISTING THE ASSOCIATION
IN ITS ENDEAVORS TO PROVIDE FOR THE MUTUAL BENEFIT OF ALL CONCERNED, AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE MUTUAL HEALTH, SAFETY, COMFORT, PROTECTION AND CONVENIENCE OF PERSONS
RESIDING AT THE COVE.
